Solid, well made and just the right size for a cocktail

My husband and I enjoy playing bartender, and we love mixing up classic cocktails. Martini glasses just aren’t right for some of the old-school concoctions we enjoy, so we chose these glasses as a bit more manly alternative. They are perfect. The heavy base keeps them steady and they have a good heft in the hand. A great size for a cocktail like an Aviation or a Crusta. Whenever we want a cocktail glass that isn’t a martini glass, we reach for these. Perfect for liqueurs too!

The “shot glass” description on these is way off. These are much, much larger than your average shot glass and are great for everything from sipping a single malt scotch to a glass of fresh-squeezed OJ to a bit of champagne. Each glass contains more, well, *glass* than you could imagine. They’re heavy, hefty, and a total pleasure to hold.
My only complaint is that after about two years, two of the 8 I purchased got chipped on the rim, even with careful handling.

These are excellent “good bar” quality glasses. They hold the perfect amount for a late night drink with friends and are almost ridiculously solid. As a good friend stated as a I handed him a drink, “this is the kind of glass that if you threw it at something . . . it would break the something.” They look terrificly cool and feel great in the hand. And the price is more than right for these babies! Love them.

I’m writing this review for my husband. He says these are excellent. He likes everything about them. They are all glass, heavy bottomed so they won’t tip over, very attractive design. We drink wine from them. He just plain likes to look at them. I like them too, they would be an asset to any table setting.

We use these as our everyday wine glasses. The weight is very substantial and they feel good in your hand! We were served wine in this type of glass when we were in Italy so they bring back great memories!
