Delivered as promised

Solid, stackable glasses. Packed very well. I previously got the juice glass version and loved them so much that I had to purchase the larger version. (I retired the ones I was currently using in favor of these space saving ones!) And this may sound trivial, but the stickers on the glasses were the type that easily pull off without leaving glue residue.

Bormioli Rock Bar ROCKS!

The Bormioli Rocco Rock Bar collection is a boon for my kitchen, family and guests. I can store enough in my small cupboards to allow me to rinse and wait till the dishwasher is full to run, and still have enough for the next family meal or snack. For company I prefer not to use disposable products and this collection allows for enough glassware to be available for a crowd of guests! Thank you Bormioli and Amazon.

The 16.25 oz. glasses are perfect for the “big guys” with big hands. (I’ve sometimes wondered, watching guys reach for a glass of soda, if they feel they are living in a miniature world. Not with these glasses!) They are also perfect for smoothies, ice cream sodas, special sundaes.

The 12.5 oz. is perfect for that all purpose beverage with ice – water, soda. iced tea (yes, I know there are special glasses for that), or a big helping of juice.

The 9 oz. is the all-purpose glass for me. Not too much, not too little. I find I use this one most often. It is especially useful when you want to allow people to fill their glass, and ask for more; as opposed to fill a glass and not finish.

The 6.75 oz. juice glass is a standard in my household. Every youngster can get a good grip on this glass and enjoy a beverage.

The 2.5 oz. shot glass is, I thought, of little use to me, but I recently picked up a set on sale at a local store. Why? They are too cute. I recently used one for a granddaughter who wanted a drink of water at bedtime. It worked. I’ll come up with some other uses — how about filling with dip for small snack before bedtime?

Then there’s the 13.25 oz. double old-fashioned glass. Have not purchased these yet. They feel like a shorter version of the 16.25 oz. glass; a good feel for those with bigger hands or perfect for a short cocktail. Envision it to be perfect for a Manhattan-on-the-rocks.

Bottom line is, for me, this line of glasses is so good that I spent all this time to talk about it.

Short but sweet

Ordered these glasses from Amazon and received yesterday. All were in tact throughout shipping. Opened the box and my first thought was wow these things are really tiny. But upon closer inspection, the glasses are indeed short, however they are much wider than normal. Since they sit low and have a flat bottom, they are not apt to tip over. They are sturdy and heavy, glass does not feel cheap. They are very clear and they feel comfortable to hold. I have ran these through the dishwasher already, and none of them broke. I would definitely recommend these glasses to anyone.

Bouncing glasses! (I found out by accident…..)

So nice looking and a pleasure to hold. They stack very compactly. And what a price! They do not *look* cheap at all, but they are.

Packed very well for shipment – all arrived intact.

Edited to add that they DO NOT BREAK! One just slipped out of my hand over a ceramic tile floor, from a height of at least three feet. I prepared myself for flying shards, but all I got was a bouncing glass! Six or seven bounces (*high* bounces) before I caught it, and a melodious bell-like ringing thrown in. I’m tempted to drop another just to repeat the experience….!

Edited to add that I have now broken one – I figure either it hit the floor just the wrong way or had a small flaw, because it didn’t drop from nearly as high as the one that bounced. Or maybe it was the one that bounced and had been weakened by the experience. Who knows.

Anyway, it shattered into tons of pieces, but none was sharp – I was stepping on stray pieces for a while, but no cuts on my feet, nor on my hand when I picked up the pieces. So I’m still crazy about them. :-)

Great Glasses

We love these glasses, they are made of very strong glass, have wide mouths that are easy to clean by hand, and I love that they are stackable space savers for our small cupboards.

These are great everyday glasses

I read all the reviews on these glasses before I purchased them. As they were almost all positive reviews, I ordered several sizes. I love these glasses. They are very high quality and the fact they stack makes for easy storage. After I received the first sets, I went back and ordered the 16 oz. ones as the 12 1/2 oz. size didn’t seem large enough. The little shot glasses are adorable and the juice size is perfect. Very good value for the money and Amazon is the best company to order from.

Room for lots of ice ! !

I almost did not buy these because I have small hands. One of the earlier reviews talked of how good these would be for big men with big hands. I wanted them anyway because they hold 13 ounces. It turns out that the tapered bottom makes them suitable for my grip. They look good, they are virtually unbreakable, and they stack! I bought the smaller old fashioned earlier when they were $12 or $15. They are now $22. If you want any of these glasses keep your eye on the price. They are evidently very popular, and prices change frequently.

Love these glasses

I had been searching for Duralex (I think that’s the name) glasses that my mom use to use 40 yrs ago. They were unbreakable & felt sturdy & I loved them.

Instead I found this Bormioli glass set that were even better than the Duralex. They are stackable & feel sturdy & feel like a good quality glass. I’ve had them for over a year & they haven’t gotten any scratches on them & still look brand new.

Terrific everyday glasses

These are terrific glasses for everyday use. You can stack them easily, so they take up less space, and they separate without any issues. I ordered two sets, (on separate occasions) and one of them was smashed to bits (absolutely no protective packaging of any kind). However, they were promptly replaced by Amazon.
